UroLift® System
The UroLift® procedure is a minimally invasive approach to treating an enlarged prostate, or BPH, that lifts or holds the enlarged prostate tissue out of the way so it no longer blocks the urethra. There is no cutting, heating or removal of prostate tissue. It is performed in the office and typically takes only a few minutes under local anesthetic. Most patients do not require a catheter after the procedure and can return to their usual activities soon after. Many men appreciate improved urination in as little as 2 weeks along with preserved sexual performance.

Transurethral Microwave Thermotherapy ("TUMT")
TUMT is a very effective treatment for men with enlarged prostate and associated symptoms. This is performed in the office. A specialize catheter is used to heat the prostate for about 30 minutes. This in turn, causes the obstructing tissue to shrink over several weeks allowing improved urinary flow. The gentleman can go home immediately after the procedure is completed, typically without a catheter to drain the bladder. Patients report benefits that last for several years.
Laser Photovaporization of Prostate
Laser TURP is the use of a high-powered greenlight laser-surgery technique for the treatment symptoms associated with enlarged prostate. There are several advantages:
- Immediate symptom relief.
- Urine flow improves dramatically after virtually bloodless procedure.
- Patients are often catheter free within 24 hours of the procedure.
